Short-term residence card of relatives of a citizen of the European Union
This Residency Document can be applied for at the local Questura upon arrival in Italy. It is free and is valid for a period of 5 years.
The following are the categories of persons who can apply:
- Spouse of EU Citizen;
- Dependent parents of EU Citizen and those of his/her spouse (irrespective of
nationality);
- Children of EU Citizen under the age of 21 and those of his/her spouse (irrespective of nationality).
